The check in process at the Toronto Mindbody Pain Clinic is simple and quick. Lisa Tetford manages the administration and is the friendly face of the clinic. She will answer your questions and help you find your way.

Meditation and Movement

After sitting meditation, we slowly and gently stretch the body. This is to softly start moving after sitting still and to explore exactly how the body feels. No one is ever expected to do something that is painful, so no exercises are ever forced. The idea is to gently move and massage the body.

 

This is the movement to release tension in the upper back.

Moving While Standing

This is a gentle twist to the side. Gently turning and stretching the body in a standing position is an integral part of the teaching at Mindbody Pain Clinics. It forms part of our “Constant Practice” concept.
